2008 Event Rules & Guidelines

Parking and Site Transportation - Private vehicles are allowed only in designated parking area. You will not be able to bring your vehicle to the event/barrack site. Period transportation will transport your and your equipment to the event/bivouac site.

Utilities - Water is available, bring your period containers. Electricity is available at the barracks, mess hall and bathroom/shower facilities. Surprisingly, field toilets will not be allowed, you must use the bathroom facilities. Trash collection will be located with the Kasino.

Shopping and Other Amenities - Grocery, Drug, Liquor and Hardware Stores, Restaurants, ATMs, Gas Stations are all located off post. There is some non-period cafeteria available, but you will not need this as all meals are provided.

Authenticity - For the enjoyment of all participants, the Authenticity and Safety Inspection will occur in the designated parking area prior to entering the event/bivouac site. Non-period items will not be allowed in the event/bivouac site.

General Safety - For the enjoyment of all participants, the Authenticity and Safety Inspection will occur in the designated parking area prior to entering the event/bivouac site. No live ammunition is permitted on the event/barrack site.

Weapons Safety - You will not be able to bring live ammunition to the base in your vehicle. No live ammunition is permitted on the event/barrack site. Remember, this is an U.S. military facility, beside their lack of humor about these rules, you will also be subject to U.S. federal law.

Age - All participants must be 18 years old or older.

Clean-Up - Each unit will be responsible for returning their designated event/barrack area prior to being released from the event.

Medical Emergencies - There will be a medic on site, and emergency medical services on the base, other medical facilities are available on post. If you have an existing medical condition, for example, diabetes, extreme reaction to bee stings, etc., please contact the medic on arrival.
