The closest airport is Indianapolis International (IND). It's about a 50-minute trip by car from Indianapolis International to I-65 South Columbus/Brown County Exit 68 to the Atterbury AFRTA. Plan on air travel to arrive before 15:00 (3:00pm) Eastern Time on Thursday if you are participating in the Ju-52 flight, before 13:00 (1:00pm) Easter Time on Friday, and after 17:00 (5:00pm) Eastern Time on Sunday. All participants must arrive onsite and be in uniform no later than 15:00 (3:00pm) on Friday. If you have a conflict with these times, please contact the event organizers for other arrangements. We will have a shuttle available from the airport to the Atterbury AFRTA on Thursday afternoon. The shuttle will depart the airport at 17:00 (5:00pm) Eastern Time on each of these days. A shuttle will return from the Atterbury AFRTA to the Indianapolis International Airport at 15:00 (3:00pm) on Sunday. You must notify us in advance if you plan on taking this shuttle. Otherwise, several car rental agencies are available at the Indianapolis International Airport. Please see the Live Fire Page For Information On Shipping Ammunition! You may ship other items in advance to the site, details to be determined. Please time the shipments to arrive no earlier than Wendesday, October11th. Shipping insurance is your responsibility. The equipment will be stored in an extremely secure location on government property; it is your responsibility to insure your equipment is insured against loss by your carrier. Weapons and Ammunition cannot be shipped UPS. The shipping address will be provided on October 1st, 2006 Return shipping is available UPS service only. Everything must be packed with a completed UPS waybill, and you must provide a credit card number on the UPS waybill for billing the return shipping. Again, shipping insurance is your responsibility.
