Fallschirmjäger-Lehrkompanie Live Fire
The Ultimate FJ Living History Activity! What could be better than live firing the weapons used by the Fallschirmjäger? And even better in a group! Individual Weapons
MG34 u. MG42 Just In! FJ-Reenactor Scott Wallace has generously offered his MG42 with Tripod for live fire. Participants will be able to shoot a 50-round belt at targets for $25. Please contact the event organizers (click here to send an email) if you are interested in particpating. Payment will be made to Scott in cash at the range. Ammunition Used at the Range: All participants must provide their own ammunition, and all live ammunition must be shipped separately via UPS only to the FJ-Lehrkompanie Ammunition address between September 1st and September 11th. We will hand deliver all of your ammo to the AFRTA range officials for their required typing, review, and custody, and they will re-issue it to you at the firing range on Sunday, October 15th. DO NOT BRING LIVE AMMO WITH YOU TO THE EVENT! ONLY AMMO SHIPPED IN ADVANCED AND RE-ISSUED BY AFRTA WILL BE FIRED ON THE RANGE! All ammunition must be expended, no one will be allowed to take unexpended ammunition from the range. Ammo Shipping and Issue Procedures 1. We recommend that each attending unit designate one person to collect funds from attending unit members and order your unit's 8mm and 9mm ammo in bulk from one of the discount ammo suppliers, like Sportsmans Guideor Cheaper Than Dirt (we're not endorsing; these are just examples - any of the shooters in your unit should be able to track down the best source). 2. Direct the ammo seller to ship your ammo to the address provided later. 3. On Sunday morning at the Atterbury firing range, the unit member named on the shipping label will be issued the ammo from the Atterbury Range Officer, and participating unit members can then get their ammo from that unit member to load their magazines, stripper clips, and MG belts. 4. Note: Targets may also be mailed to the FJ-Lehrkompanie Firing
Range address to be determined using these same shipping & labeling
